So it turns out there are castles in the sky. They're made of crystal and the second Alice Glass's voice touches a microphone they shatter with the vibrations, falling to the mortals bellow. This post is somewhat of a pitty post for myself because the last time I got to hear the screams of Crystal Castles was at Coachella last year, and unfortunately that festival was out of my geographical local this year. But enough about my secluded soul, Crystal Castles has announced a release date of June 7th here in Europe and a day later in the States. The truth is Out There

This is a video a friend showed me of the former deputy

prime minister of Canada, Paul Hellyer, outlining the need

for the American government to come forth with the truth

about UFO's.

Now before you call me a conspiracy theorist nut job,

do your research. First google the Majestic 12, second go

to disclosure project, a group of over 400 ex military and

private sector people who have come out about UFO's.

There is tons of proof out there that The US has know

about, had contact with, and gained technology from

Visitors, dating back to the 50's.

Much of the speculation surrounding these

interactions involves the US building flying saucers using

the Visitor's technology, along with a form of renewable

energy that could save us from the inevitable destruction

that will come from global warming. Some assume this

energy to be caused by magnetic fields in which a - or +

magnet would be in the center of a gyro, surrounded by

the same charged magnet, causing a turbine effect that

does not run out and creates infinite energy.

The man in this video claims that the Visitors came

to offer their help to prevent us from ruining our world,

but due to a physical phenomenon that caused our planes

to come apart when they're too close to the visitor's ships,

our government decided to instead bulk up military, and

steal (or possibly work with rouge visitors to obtain)

visitor technology.

The scary part about this is that it is believed that

Kennedy was the last democratic president to know

about these events. Carter, Clinton, and of course big O'

were kept out of the loop, Clinton has even been quoted

telling the press "there is a government inside the gov-

ernment and I have no control over it." This would be

reference to the Majestic 12, the agency set up by

Truman to deal with UFO's. A now multi-national,

multi-corporation entity with no government oversight,

but non-the-less, receiving billions, if not trillions of tax

dollars every year. The implications of this shadow gov.

are astonishingly scary, un-constitutional, and most

likely make the lies about Iraq look little and white.

Remember now, the guy talking here is Paul Hellyer,

former Canadian Minister of Defence and Deputy

Prime Minister saying this shit. This may sounds like

the next big summer movie, but if its real it is the

biggest threat to world peace and democracy any

where.

I will add a notation of skepticism because the facts

aren't all out there. For now, food for thought. -cs

Palin has somehow managed to keep herself in the lime light even after proving to the world she doesn't understand basic governmental functions. She wrote a book that was ghost authored by Lynn Vincent, editor of the Christian World Magazine and anti-abortion/gay rights/evolution activist. So we know where this thing was going. Palin thought she was being rougue, while using the same carl rove social dividers that have been in the republican handbook for years. And now, after scoring a role at Fox and Friends, Palin has found the audacity to be the face of the Tea-Party movement.

She recently spoke as the Key Note speaker at the first national Tea party convention in Nashville, TN. Run away government spending and attacking Obama for not being tough on terror were just a few of her complaints. In particular she called the democrats out for their stimulus package, clearly ignoring the fact that it was Bush who started throwing money at the banks in his final months. A farewell to friends the only way the guy knew how, by bankrupting the treasury with no accountability. Palin kept the Patriotism meeter high, using the ever vague claims of God given freedom and the likes. The real stinger though, is that her little speech about Real America and real people, earned her the likes of $100,000. No one in the room but her makes $100,000 for 45 minutes of work. She is the whore of the republican party, a classy one, but never the less, a whore.

And I say the republican party because though these Tea Partiers, including Palin, claim they do not swing to either party, they turn around and say, "but make sure to vote for the republicans in these upcoming elections." The old bait and switch. When will the "real America" see through their shit? When it costs at the least $359 to see some bitch who couldn't even remember what she reads when asked, "So what do you read?", while she herself is making $100,000 for that speech, there is nothing grass-roots or anti-establishment about it.

This is just the most recent of a long set of events where the conservative establishment uses religion, zealous patriotism, vague symbolism, a hint of racism, and a claim of being "for the people, and by the people," to rile up their bases to turn out and vote so the conservative establishment can continue its Laze-faire fascism with interest of the international conglomerate far above that of the common man.

I get why the tea party people are pissed. We were sold a story about banks that were too big to fail, and if they did everything would be ruined, so the banks got a bunch of money and we stood here with an ever growing jobless rate and neighborhoods turning into ghost lands cause' no one wanted to pay a mortgage on a house that was twice what the current market value placed it at. But these issues are not from a government that is too big, they're from a treasury that is privately owned and operated, with no regulatory functions to ensure how the tax money is being spent. And where were these tea party people when Bush spent 1 trillion on some wars that benefited the few and connected while ruining the lives of military families and entire countries? Most of them, were waving flags and yellow ribbons screaming "freedom ain't free." I guess the point is, don't say your pissed about runaway spending when your douchbag of a leader spent more and grew the power of the federal government more than any other president in history. Then Obama comes in and after one year of just sorting out the loose ends and figuring what the fuck is really going on, while trying to restore the balance of power between the branches of government, you attack him for not doing enough, while doing too much. Grow up. The Chart below breaks up the various causes for the deficit the tea party people are complaining about. Notice the size of Bush's tax cuts and the wars.

When I started hearing the rumors about the iPad I thought "sick, a no keyboard touch screen computer." You know like apple's answer to those HP touch screen desktops but in a portable form. Instead they gave us an oversized iPod touch with the same bullshit, att restrictions. It has photos; but no usb port to plug in a camera. It has the internet; but no flash support. Personally, I think this thing is gonna fall flat on its face. and oooh, there's digital books now. Why do I get the feeling those are gonna be as over priced as 99cent songs. I've been both excited and disappointed with Obama. Its been a year since Bush left and the country is still shit. I guess it takes a lot more work to fix problems than create them. Regardless of how you see the views, you've gotta give the President credit for putting himself in front of the house republicans and letting them ask whatever they want. He takes responsibility for mishaps, and deflects the lies with that sleek tongue that got him elected. It feels good to have a guy in office that is at least thinking through this shit.

Fixed gears and catchy electro riffs. Bike culture is huge here in Denmark, they've got these six inch wide ramps on all the stairs so you can ride down them, and their bike lanes are like secondary sidewalks (with curbs) in between the sidewalk and the road. So four days into my adventures in Denmark and I got a gig at the Studenterhus in downtown Aarhus. The place is ran by students, for students, so the drinks are affordable. It was an amazing drunken blur, but apparently I did alright cause' they've asked me back for a Carnival Fest on February 16th. Every tuesday is international night so the crowd will be wonderfully diverse. This is gonna get crazy. Come join in the mayhem with us.
