King Charles

God damn british pop music. How does one island produce so much good music. King James found its way to my ears and reminded me indie isn't dead. Just when I though four cord rifts and the most basic of drum beats had all been used up, they found a way to rearrange themselves into something new again. Maybe I'm just a sucker for good lyrics.

OMG its Crystal Castles

So it turns out there are castles in the sky. They're made of crystal and the second Alice Glass's voice touches a microphone they shatter with the vibrations, falling to the mortals bellow. This post is somewhat of a pitty post for myself because the last time I got to hear the screams of Crystal Castles was at Coachella last year, and unfortunately that festival was out of my geographical local this year. But enough about my secluded soul, Crystal Castles has announced a release date of June 7th here in Europe and a day later in the States. Till then, let this be your guiding light through glass cathedrals. -cs

Are you ready to party with Grandma Ruth?

Age is one of those things none of us are prepared for,
which is why I find is surprisingly refreshing to see a
69 year old women mashing beats.
Thanks to GottaDanceDirty.com for the leak.

Peace Treaty & Disk Jo Slim - Deepher Insideher

This big room rocker came to me from the collaboration of Peace Treaty & Disk Jo Slim. Can't find the dirt on Peace Treaty, but Jo Slim is an LA based rager, with a continuous list of shows and parties throughout the greater LA. This original reminds me of when I heard Major Lazer's Pon Di Floor for the first time. Feel free to snag the 320 and show Mr. Disk Jo Slim some love on the myspace and twitter. Now I need to get the fuck outa the house. Its a saturday. -cs

Robot Rock

I think this is what Daft Punk had in mind when they made this track.

Lo-Fi-Fnk come Marching In Again

Lo-Fi-Fnk Marchin In from Mattias Erik Johansson on Vimeo.

Lo-Fi-Fnk have been around for about 10 years or so, but been off the radars since their 2006 album "Boylife". It was feared the duo had parted ways or fallen off the wayside. But their new video and single "marchin in" is just what we needed to restore faith in the swedish sensation. Snag the track bellow, and buy the album when that shits hits. -cs
